To Whom It May Concern,
This letter is to offer my recommendation of Ms. Dawn Frood. I have known Dawn since 2008. During this time,
I have had the opportunity and pleasure to work with her both at Keiser University and South University.
Consequently, I feel qualified to offer this recommendation.
Ms. Frood has collaborated with me on several projects. The projects were related to my work as an instructor and
as an Academic Support Center Coordinator. In all the work she performed, she was well prepared and made
significant and unique contributions to my projects. Ms. Frood is one of the best librarians I have worked with.
Her talent and competence is well noted in the library. She brings that talent into the classroom when delivering
library instruction. My colleagues and I constantly praise Ms. Frood for her effectiveness. I appreciate her
dynamic approach in my classroom because her engaging presentations serve as an excellent and warm invitation
for our students to take advantage of library resources.
Students have praised Dawn's ability to help them with research and proper citation. They value her kindness and
respect she treats them with. I often make specific requests of Dawn for my Political Science and Speech classes.
She is adept at making unique LibGuides and emphasizing those databases that would be most helpful for specific
research project. When Dawn presents to my classes, her enthusiasm in the classroom is contagious.
Ms. Frood helped me with several projects while I was working as a Support Center Coordinator. She is very
competent with various software applications and I benefited a lot from her willingness to help with my
pamphlets and schedule. I find Dawn to be a very personable colleague. She gets along well with others and is
well respected within our university. She possesses a good sense of humor and is not afraid to laugh at herself. I
have never observed her to be malicious or disrespectful toward others, but rather have observed her to be caring
and respectful, especially toward our students.
In conclusion, I once again offer my strong recommendation of Ms. Dawn Frood. I believe that she possesses the
necessary professional and academic background, the intellectual skills, and the personal attributes to be an
effective librarian educator. If I can provide any additional information, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Agneza Božić Roberson
