Project realized on the occasion of the hackathon Hack@Home during the quarantine of COVID-19 in Italy. The aim is to reduce contagions among people who have come into contact with an infected person without realizing it.

5. The app obtains the position from the GPS and saves it
only on the phone
Everyone can install COVIDTracker
6. … and now what?
To request a swab, the patient should contact his general
practitioner, who will give him a unique code.
1 A personstarts having symptoms
At this point, the patient enters the code on COVIDTracker
and the doctor receives the request and the crypted
hidden positions, on the online portal.
2 The swab is positive
The doctor, through the online portal, accepts the user's
request and the encrypted positions NOT associated with
the patient are sent to the central server.
3 The doctor accept the request
Periodically, the app on other people's mobile phones
make a request to the central server that will provide the
locations frequented by the infected. These will be
compared on the mobile phone and, if necessary, the user
will be notified that he or she has potentially come into
contact with an infected person.
