I am writing this reference letter for David Schweitzer who has been my colleague during
the 2005/2006 academic year at Middle East Technical University, Northern Cyprus
Campus.
David attended a training session on CALL, which I fascinated and seemed interested in
sharing ideas and with colleagues and keeping his teaching skills up to date. I was
impressed by the fact that even though he has extensive experience teaching David is
always eager to learn and seems committed to life long learning.
Middle East Technical University is one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey
and opened a Northern Cyprus Campus this year. Because our campus is not as large as
the main campus in Ankara the teachers here were better able to get to know their
colleagues. I am thus able to say that David is not only a good team member but was a
sociable member of our academic community.
