Technical Training Seminars:
• Dust collection system design, optimization
and troubleshooting. Includes fan selection
and control.
• Pulse-jet dust collector configuration, media
selection, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Pneumatic conveying technologies and
equipment.
3. Process Ventilation / Exhaust System Application:
• Self-balancing ventilation systems provide airflow through three multiple-stage drying systems, each consisting of three rotary dryers, four pneumatic
conveying systems, fugitive emissions collection and two dust collectors. Two fans operating in parallel handle the airflow from all three systems, resulting in
a push-pull configuration. The equipment and components were designed with provisions for explosion protection and deflagration venting.
Material-Handling / Dust Collection Application:
• Custom-designed dump stations and surge bins are used to introduce raw materials into a processing operation, while closed-loop pneumatic conveying
systems transfer finished products from custom-designed product pick-up hoppers to custom-designed storage silos and from the silos to the packaging
systems. Dust collection systems provide exhaust and dust capture at raw material dumping points and the finished product handling and packaging
operations. The dust collection equipment and storage silos were designed with provisions for explosion protection and deflagration venting.
Finished Product Storage and Packaging Application:
• A bulk storage and packaging facility expansion project increased a food production plant’s finished product storage capacity by 1,200,000 lb and consolidated
high-speed packaging operations. New equipment and systems included pneumatic conveying systems, storage silos, product handling and screening
equipment, package unitizer, palletizer, shrink-wrapper and conveyance equipment for packages, bales and pallets.

Philosophy
We strive to partner with our clients in developing appropriate, cost-effective solutions for design needs and problem areas while maintaining a strong
awareness to safety concerns. We are respectful of budget constraints and seek to develop detailed project scopes in order to quantify all needs and costs at
the beginning of a project.
At Axis Engineering, LLC, we do not believe that “good enough” or “close enough” is an appropriate business philosophy when it comes to engineering. Rather,
we provide solutions rooted in fundamental engineering principles and proven industry practices.
Your Technical Resource
Axis Engineering, LLC provides design and evaluation services for dry material handling, processing, packaging and storage equipment and systems and dust
collection applications, equipment and systems. We are well suited for those small to medium sized projects that typically fall under the target project size of
larger consulting firms or may be beyond the offerings of OEM companies or manufacturing representatives.
In addition, we can provide on-site technical training for your engineers, operators and maintenance personnel to ensure optimum performance of your
systems.
