KnowNow is a company that provides home and building sensing solutions for temperature, humidity, energy consumption and presence awareness. They have demonstrated these solutions in a Passivhaus home in the South Downs National Park and at IBM's IoT lab in Hants, England. KnowNow also produces flood event models and won the 2014 Open Data Institute Open Data Prize. They are experts in data visualization and non-visual representation. Additionally, they have developed a microservice app that provides a measured level of trust between users and applications as an alternative to accepting all terms and conditions. This service is being evaluated for information security and undergoing user testing at the University of Southampton with plans for availability on the IBM Cloud Marketplace in early 2016.
