Frustration and delays
The assumption that your company was authorized to use the book was not accurate. The week before
the workshop the legal team cancels the event to avoid the risk of a lawsuit… Clients have been
inconvenienced and senior management is upset.
However, you acted ethically and avoided a possible lawsuit by asking the legal department to review
any legal and ethical concerns before launching your program, and you learned a valuable lesson.
