The proposal recommends replacing the existing metal halide lighting with GigaTera LED lights for an indoor sports venue. GigaTera LEDs provide uniform illumination through a multi-beam structure and improved heat dissipation. They also offer energy savings of 50% compared to existing lights, have a longer lifetime, support dimming and controls. Installing GigaTera LEDs would reduce CO2 emissions and save on energy costs while providing glare-free lighting that enhances the playing experience. Simulations show the LED lighting meets or exceeds illumination standards.
