2. Use of Technology in the Church
•The use of Technology
Technology is a good tool
There is a generation coming up that
technology is all they know
We are in the Connected Age.
3. Ministering without technology
It is hard to reach someone when they feel disconnected, so with this
day and time as the Connected age we as churches or Christian
should try to use technology to connect them with the word of God.
God has given us the brains to invent cell phones, computer, WiFi,
and he wants us to use
4. Ministering without technology
he wants us to use it. I believe the Bible can illustrate this really well
and I’m going to paraphrase The disciple were in Jerusalem after
Jesus’s death and after they had received the Holy Spirit, The mission
that Jesus left them with was
Matthew 28:18-19 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All
authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore
go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (NIV)
6. Early use of Technology
Historical periods, or ages, chronicle thousands of years
of human developments.
The impact of education, religion and technological
developments can be seen in the naming of different eras
the Age of Discovering: beginning in the 15th century
7. Early use of Technology
the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century,
the Industrial Revolution in the 18th century.
so you see technology has always been their it just in the
last several years advanced more.
This is where the Church must decide if they will embrace
the world of technology.
