2. PRAYER
Dear GOD, we pray for your guidance as we
start our new lesson for today. Help us
inculcate knowledge as we go through all the
activities as we explore new wisdom. Shower
us with your strength and keen
understanding. We ask this through CHRIST
Your SON ,our Lord. AMEN
4. OBJECTIVES:
1. Examine the technology or resources available
during the prehistoric age, the industrial age, the
electronic age, and the information age.
2. Identify the devices used by people to
communicate with each other, store information,
and broadcast information across the different
ages.
5.
6. 1.What specific evolution does the picture portray?
2.What are the changes in their physical appearance?
3.What do you think are the tools they used to communicate with one another?
9. May I
Know?
What is the video all about?
What do you think are the tools they
used to communicate in asking for
help?
If you will be given a chance to give
them 1 tool that we have nowadays,
what would it be and why?
11. Pre-Industrial Age (Before 1700’s)
People discovered fire, developed paper from plants,
and forged weapons and tools with bronze, copper and
iron.
Ex.
Cave Paintings,
Papyrus in Egypt

Ex.
Newspaper
Typewriter
Telegraph
Punch Cards
19. Electronic Age (1930’s-1980’s)
The invention of the transistor ushered in the electronic age. People harnessed the power of
transistors that led to the transistor radio, electronic circuits, and the early computers. In
this age, long distance communication became more efficient.
Ex.
Transistor Radio
Television
Large Electronic Computer
Main Frame Computer
PersonalComputer
LCD Projectors
26. Information Age (1900’s-2000’s)
The internet paved the way for faster communication and the creation of the social network.
People advanced the use of microelectronics with the invention of personal computers,
mobile devices, and wearable technology.
Ex.
Web Browsers
Social Networks
Portable Computer and Laptops
Smart Phones/Cellphones
WearableTechnology
38. May I ask?
What are the devices used in Pre
Industrial Age?
When did the internet paved way in
communication?
How can you differentiate Pre
Industrial Age to Information Age?
39. May I know? ½ crosswise
How can you apply the
evolutions in using the
devices in your daily lives?
40. Review
1. What are the four evolutions of
technology?
2. Why is there a need for changes or
evolutions?
3. How are you going to define evolution of
technology in 1 word?
