Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 lets users configure
views to meet specific law firm roles and information
needs. Personalising views allows users to access online
training resources including videos of common functions.
Users also have control over what links appear in the
view, how many records appear in lists, how numbers and
dates display, and the language they want to use. The
reading pane gives users an instant view of a record
without having to open a new screen.
4. Contextual ribbon for easier navigation
Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 introduces a new Office
2010 contextual ribbon for both Outlook and browser clients. The
ribbon delivers a consistent, familiar navigation and user
experience. CRM information can take full advantage of native
Outlook functionality, including previews and conditional
formatting. Users can highlight and flag CRM records just like they
can with an Outlook email.

Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 displays forms and views
based on user roles. This role-tailored design ensures that users
have fast access to the relevant information they need with much
less clicks. Role-based forms and views also prevent users from
seeing data that they are not authorised to view.

InsideView for Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 enables social
marketing/BD by bringing intelligence gained from social media
and traditional editorial sources to the firm to increase awareness
and client interaction. InsideView continuously aggregates and
analyses relevant executive and corporate data from thousands of
content sources to uncover new BD opportunities. InsideView
delivers this intelligence natively within CRM and mobile devices.
7. Enhanced connections/relationship management
In previous versions, linking records was limited to the
Relationship functionality which was available for linking only a
few record types like clients and contacts. Microsoft Dynamics
xRM4Legal 2011 has a new feature called Connections which
allows any record to be linked to any other record, regardless of
record type. Connections types are controlled by the
administrators, thus controlling how records are tied together.

In Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011, the audit ability is
included in the out of the box features. The change history can be
viewed by selecting Audit History on the left navigation of the
Client record. It shows the Changed Date and Time, Changed By,
which field changed, the Old Value and the New Value.
