“Getting started” pane for streamlined training
                          Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 lets users configure
                          views to meet specific law firm roles and information
                          needs. Personalising views allows users to access online
                          training resources including videos of common functions.
                          Users also have control over what links appear in the
                          view, how many records appear in lists, how numbers and
                          dates display, and the language they want to use. The
                          reading pane gives users an instant view of a record
                          without having to open a new screen.
Contextual ribbon for easier navigation
                      Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 introduces a new Office
                      2010 contextual ribbon for both Outlook and browser clients. The
                      ribbon delivers a consistent, familiar navigation and user
                      experience. CRM information can take full advantage of native
                      Outlook functionality, including previews and conditional
                      formatting. Users can highlight and flag CRM records just like they
                      can with an Outlook email.
Fluid UI with role-based forms and views
                   Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 displays forms and views
                   based on user roles. This role-tailored design ensures that users
                   have fast access to the relevant information they need with much
                   less clicks. Role-based forms and views also prevent users from
                   seeing data that they are not authorised to view.
Integrated “social” marketing/BD
                   InsideView for Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 enables social
                   marketing/BD by bringing intelligence gained from social media
                   and traditional editorial sources to the firm to increase awareness
                   and client interaction. InsideView continuously aggregates and
                   analyses relevant executive and corporate data from thousands of
                   content sources to uncover new BD opportunities. InsideView
                   delivers this intelligence natively within CRM and mobile devices.
Enhanced connections/relationship management
                  In previous versions, linking records was limited to the
                  Relationship functionality which was available for linking only a
                  few record types like clients and contacts. Microsoft Dynamics
                  xRM4Legal 2011 has a new feature called Connections which
                  allows any record to be linked to any other record, regardless of
                  record type. Connections types are controlled by the
                  administrators, thus controlling how records are tied together.
Interactive process dialogs for consistent data entry



Dialogs help firms to collect and
process information using step-
by-step scripts. At the most
basic level, firms can use
dialogs to guide client
interactions and internal
processes eg. New client/new
matter opening. At another
level, dialogs can be used to
increase efficiency and
versatility by incorporating
workflow logic. This logic
invokes automated tasks using
the responses a client or user
makes during a dialog script.
Easier record auditing (who changed what when)
                   In Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011, the audit ability is
                   included in the out of the box features. The change history can be
                   viewed by selecting Audit History on the left navigation of the
                   Client record. It shows the Changed Date and Time, Changed By,
                   which field changed, the Old Value and the New Value.
Dynamic marketing lists for automatic list update
                   Imagine how productive a Marketing Manager can be if they can
                   target all firm clients and contacts by creating a marketing list which
                   keeps itself auto updated based on a criterion. Microsoft Dynamics
                   xRM4Legal 2011 makes this job simpler. With this functionality you
                   can rest assured that your marketing publications and event
                   invitations will reach the right set of client contacts.
Flexible charting and modification
  Charts present your firms data graphically. Data presented in
  charts can quickly give you insight into large quantities of data
  that is spread across different areas of the firm. This helps you
  make relevant and timely decisions. Microsoft Dynamics
  xRM4Legal 2011 associates charts with record types. It generates
  charts using the data in the list of records for any record type.
  Multiple charts can be created for a record type.
Easily customisable, real-time dashboards
                   The new real-time dashboards in Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal
                   2011 deliver advanced business intelligence functionality that is
                   simple to use and easy to change. Users can quickly configure
                   multiple dashboards to monitor BD/marketing performance. The
                   dashboards can be set up for individual or shared use, and can
                   include inline charts with drill-down intelligence to visually
                   navigate data, identify trends and uncover new insights.

  • 3. “Getting started” pane for streamlined training Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 lets users configure views to meet specific law firm roles and information needs. Personalising views allows users to access online training resources including videos of common functions. Users also have control over what links appear in the view, how many records appear in lists, how numbers and dates display, and the language they want to use. The reading pane gives users an instant view of a record without having to open a new screen.
  • 4. Contextual ribbon for easier navigation Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 introduces a new Office 2010 contextual ribbon for both Outlook and browser clients. The ribbon delivers a consistent, familiar navigation and user experience. CRM information can take full advantage of native Outlook functionality, including previews and conditional formatting. Users can highlight and flag CRM records just like they can with an Outlook email.
  • 5. Fluid UI with role-based forms and views Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 displays forms and views based on user roles. This role-tailored design ensures that users have fast access to the relevant information they need with much less clicks. Role-based forms and views also prevent users from seeing data that they are not authorised to view.

Integrated “social” marketing/BD InsideView for Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 enables social marketing/BD by bringing intelligence gained from social media and traditional editorial sources to the firm to increase awareness and client interaction. InsideView continuously aggregates and analyses relevant executive and corporate data from thousands of content sources to uncover new BD opportunities. InsideView delivers this intelligence natively within CRM and mobile devices.

Enhanced connections/relationship management In previous versions, linking records was limited to the Relationship functionality which was available for linking only a few record types like clients and contacts. Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 has a new feature called Connections which allows any record to be linked to any other record, regardless of record type. Connections types are controlled by the administrators, thus controlling how records are tied together.
  • 8. Interactive process dialogs for consistent data entry Dialogs help firms to collect and process information using step- by-step scripts. At the most basic level, firms can use dialogs to guide client interactions and internal processes eg. New client/new matter opening. At another level, dialogs can be used to increase efficiency and versatility by incorporating workflow logic. This logic invokes automated tasks using the responses a client or user makes during a dialog script.
  • 9. Easier record auditing (who changed what when) In Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011, the audit ability is included in the out of the box features. The change history can be viewed by selecting Audit History on the left navigation of the Client record. It shows the Changed Date and Time, Changed By, which field changed, the Old Value and the New Value.

Dynamic marketing lists for automatic list update Imagine how productive a Marketing Manager can be if they can target all firm clients and contacts by creating a marketing list which keeps itself auto updated based on a criterion. Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 makes this job simpler. With this functionality you can rest assured that your marketing publications and event invitations will reach the right set of client contacts.
  • 11. Flexible charting and modification Charts present your firms data graphically. Data presented in charts can quickly give you insight into large quantities of data that is spread across different areas of the firm. This helps you make relevant and timely decisions. Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 associates charts with record types. It generates charts using the data in the list of records for any record type. Multiple charts can be created for a record type.

Easily customisable, real-time dashboards The new real-time dashboards in Microsoft Dynamics xRM4Legal 2011 deliver advanced business intelligence functionality that is simple to use and easy to change. Users can quickly configure multiple dashboards to monitor BD/marketing performance. The dashboards can be set up for individual or shared use, and can include inline charts with drill-down intelligence to visually navigate data, identify trends and uncover new insights.
