Gulgong’s All Hallows
Catholic School is today
named as one of several
schools across Australia that
achieved above average
gain in NAPLAN perform-
ance between 2011 and
2013.
The news comes in con-
junction with today’s
launch of updated My
School data. My School is a
website presenting detailed
profiles on all schools,
including results from the
National Assessment
Program – Literacy and
Numeracy (NAPLAN).
All Hallows principal,
Catherine Gaudry, said on
Monday it was exciting to be
one of ten schools acknowl-
edged across NSW for high
academic gain among their
students in NAPLAN tests
over the past three years.
“The biggest shift has
been around teacher con-
versation, from ‘What are
we expected to teach?’ to
‘How will we know when
each child has learned?”
Mrs Gaudry said.
