Announcing our NEW XenApp/XenDesktop 7.7 Boot Camps
XenTegra is inviting you to participate in one of our two day in person boot camps, to learn
how to implement the latest edition, XenApp 7.7 and XenDesktop 7.7. Citrix XenApp and
XenDesktop are the most complete application and desktop virtualization solution on the
market. This boot camp will help you gain the knowledge you need whether you’re starting
your application or desktop virtualization projects or you’re ready to move your current
solution forward. We at XenTegra are committed to providing Citrix and Microsoft resources

Boot Camp Overview
The new Citrix XenDesktop 7.7 platform has been well received by new and existing customers
because of its unified architecture for apps and desktops, app optimization with HDX mobile, and new
EdgeSight and Director features. New and existing Citrix customers will gain the knowledge to move
to the latest platform and how to be successful in leveraging many of the new key features.

• Installing the SCVMM Agent on the Hyper-V Host
• Setting Up SQL Mirroring
• Initial Site Setup
• Joining a Second Controller to the Site
• Configuring StoreFront and Installing Certificates
• Configuring NetScaler for StoreFront Load Balancing
• Installing the VDA on the Base Desktop VM
• Installing the VDA on the Base Server VM
• Creating a Desktop OS Machine Catalog
• Creating a Delivery Group for Desktops

• PVS Farm Configuration
• Provisioning Services Optimizations
• Joining a Second Server to the PVS Farm
• Importing vDisks to the Provisioning Services Console
• Creating a Windows 8.1 vDisk
• Creating Windows Templates in System Center 2012 R2 Virtual Machine Manager
• Creating Catalogs of Desktops with the XenDesktop Setup Wizard
• Creating a Delivery Group for the PVS Catalog
• Creating Catalogs of Servers with the XenDesktop
