1. OUR STORY
Shannon Engineering Company started in 1998 as a branch of Shannon Trading and
Contracting. The branch was run by ambitious Engineer Hany Abdelfattah, and whose
main activity was to handle small scale private projects.
In less than four years, Eng. Hany Abdelfattah successfully managed to grow the
company activities significantly and take advantage of the booming economy in Doha at
that time. The company could prove itself as a grade A construction company and take
an independent identity by November 2003 as Shannon Engineering Company.
Today, and after a decade after its launch, SEC government, commercial and residential
projects helped transform several Arab cities including Sharjah and Doha. As the name
suggests, SEC is dedicated to success, excellence and commitment throughout all
delivered and ongoing developments.

MARKET PRESPECTIVE
Engineer Ahmed Shehab, Business Development
Manager at Shannon Engineering, believes in the
importance of the private sector in shaping the
future of Qatari economy. He confirmed the vital
role small and medium scale enterprises play to
contribute to the local market and has confidence in
the support that will be received from the
government in the upcoming period as the Mondial
2022 approaches.
Eng. Shehab also stressed on the strong competition in the Qatari market which only
adds a lot of value in creating partnerships with international companies.
In spite of the challenges and high competition among Grade A Qatari and international
companies, SEC could prove its capability of handling high scale projects and be the
general contractor of choice by maintaining world class service. Shannon Engineering
could leave a footprint in the Qatari market by adopting the highest levels of quality and
timely delivery of projects; as well as keeping integrity and transparency as high priority
in all its dealings.
