An Architect in the CTO Group. Report to and focus on a subset of the CTO's objectives and his technical vision. Namely the
decision process of software development and its compliance to the overarching software architecture. I.e. research, proof of
concepts, hands–on software prototyping, compatibility and analysis, etc. I maintain deep familiarity with industry trends and
resulting opportunities that may be communicated in the technology vision, strategy and architecture.
My Prime responsibility is to provide disruptive solutions including, but not limited to, Big Data, Cloud Computing and
Communication technology research. Followed by guidance of the introduction of newly developed technologies into the
architecture of the company’s products.
Lead Architect in numerous CTO projects in the field of Predictive analytics, Search and knowledge discovery, Stream
analytics, Network Optimization and ML.
Set the technology direction and orchestrate the low level analysis of architectural standards, solutions and their
development process. Conduct the analysis of the products technological requirements against industry trends and
principals.
Operate within two processes. The Planning process: create the overarching architecture against domain requirements,
drive the creation of architecture frameworks. The Product Development governance process: guide the implementation
of new architecture solutions by project.
As a lead role component, responsible of cross organization interaction with the VPs and software/ systems/ infrastructure/
cloud architects.
2011 – 2016: SAP
Software Architect (2014 – 2016)
An architect in a group developing a PaaS solution which enables development services, for developers using various
technologies - Development as a Service. The product is Cloud Foundry based, with Microservices architecture, developed on
the SAP Cloud. This solution was a central part of the business strategy and vision of the organization, which forms the
development solution for SAP customers in the SAP HANA Cloud Platform.
Defined the product architecture and its adaptation throughout the product’s life span, following changes in requirements.
Wrote technical architecture documents.
Trained, provided guidance to the development teams and implemented according to need (Hands-On - J2EE, Java SE,
Node.JS, JavaScript, Bash).
Introduced structure, guidelines, principles, determination of standards and leadership for implementation in all technical
aspects of the product.
Actively participated in cross-organization forums (including abroad) in which managers and Product Unit representatives
were a part of. Worked with and provided support to architects from other teams, in Israel and abroad, which developed
product expansions and services on the platform. Defined interfaces, technical requirements and lead all the integration
processes with other products and services.
Cooperated tightly with all the stakeholders of the product, such as Product, Customer Engagement teams, and more. In
order to successfully lead the change management process and to ensure that the architecture integrates seamlessly with
other products of the organization.
2. Participated actively in the product planning, executed proof of concepts, and cultivated non-functional requirements of the
product (Design Constraints, CI/CD Pipelines, Security, Quality and Performance).
Senior software engineer & Technical Lead (2011 – 2014)
The product enabled interaction and consumption of SAP systems using SAP NetWeaver Gateway.
Developed an Application framework which enabled authentication, authorization and parsing abilities that form a major
part of the SAP version of Eclipse, by means of JAVA Generated Proxy Code.
Acted as the focal point for technical subjects; lead, advised and cultivated the product architecture within the team.
Promoted engineering excellence in the team. Coached the team members via code reviews, design reviews, presentation
of new technological subjects and concepts.
Performed initial checks for new topics, lead POCs in the OData domain - data access protocol. Developed in the J2EE
environment.
2009 – 2011: Software Engineer – Axxana
Developed a product that enables the QA Department to plan and execute automatic scenarios. Responsibility for
infrastructure design, logical layer, new functionality planning, design and implementation.
Design and development of Client/Server architecture using Spring MVC & IOC.
2008 – 2009: Software Engineer – Giant Steps
Developed J2EE based NMS in a Server-side team. Leading the development from the design process to the development
of the application infrastructure.
