My name is Mike Anderson and I am the Head Men’s and Women’s Trackand Field Coach at
Thomas College in Waterville, ME. I am writing this letter on behalf of one of my athletes:
Danielle Provost. I have had the privilege and knowing Danielle forover a semester now
and I can truly say she is a person of class and integrity.
I met Danielle during the summer of 2015 when she expressed interest in joining the track
team. From my first initial meeting with her, I knew she wouldbe friendly, respectful, and a
person of high character. The one attribute I noticed immediately is her unmatched work
ethic that she demonstrates on a daily basis. I truly believe this is something that separates
her fromothers. This workethic is not only reflected in her athletics training, but in her
academics as well. She has one of the highest GPA’s on the team and in the athletic
department, which I believe is a direct reflection of the above-mentioned attributes.
Twoaspects of Danielle that stand out in my mind are her character and leadership. She
has unquestioned leadership abilities that has earned her the respect of her teammates,
coaches, and all whoare involvedwith Thomas College. She is a person of high values and
morals, whoconsistently strives to better herself, as well as those around her. Danielle is a
person whoI know willalways have a strong sense of accountability,and I have a very high
level of trust in her as a person and as an athlete.
I am completely humbled and honored to be writing this letter because I know it is fora
person I have great respect for and someone who, withouta doubt, will succeed in whatever
she chooses to do. I cannot say enough positive things about Danielle Provost. I would
highly recommend her for any position or role she pursues.
