To Whom It may Concern:
It gives me a great deal of pleasure to write a letter of recommendation on behalf of Cameron
Brown. I had the pleasure of teaching Cameron in the Student Leadership Seminar class and Honors
English, in high school. He proved to be an excellent student and a superb leader in both classes.
The Student Leadership Seminar class is a class for the elected student council members at
Spartanburg High School. This class teaches the art of true leadership. The students have to take
the initiative to put into practice all that they learn in the class. It is a very fulfilling experience for
the students. Cameron showed in his daily activities around the school that he is a leader and he has
gained valuable skills that are practical for him. I appointed Cameron as chairperson to numerous
committees and he has always done well. He always knew how to organize his committees and
delegate the assignment. The students had great respect for him because he knew how to treat them
with well. He cared about their needs and he did everything in his power to take care of them. He
was and is quite popular with his constituents.
I demand that all of my leaders take charge and do what is best for our school and community. It
was always Cameron who was seeking ways to help those who are less fortunate. We have many
community projects and I want the students to understand the value of helping others. I am always
pleased with Cameron’s efforts. Not only does he understand this lesson; he helps to teach it to
others. I am thoroughly impressed with this. It is not often that young people appreciate what they
have and share it with others. Cameron is a blessing and a joy. A perfect example of how he is
willing to help that less fortunate is his participation in the school's service projects. Cameron
belonged to several clubs; one of which is The Tippers Club. The members of the club give many
countless hours to various charities in our community. I was so impressed with Cameron that I
appointed him as president of the organization. His job was to make sure the club not only provided
service for others, it also provided social events for the members and the community. He is way
beyond his years in wisdom. I am very proud of him.
Cameron was also elected president of the student body at Spartanburg High School during his
senior year. His peers trusted him enough to elect him to lead them. He was a very dynamic leader
and he always led in an incredibly professional manner. I never worried about things getting down
and truly made my job easier. He always sets the examples for others and continuously upholds a
very high standard. All of this shows that Cameron is the well-rounded person.
I am proud to write this letter on Cameron’s behalf. He is a good student and a personal friend. I
know that he will be successful in life because he is successful now. He has a big heart and a caring
soul. One cannot be any more successful than that. I know that he will be an asset to whatever
institution he ends up working for.
Respectfully,
Chris White
