and it is located in front of a church. This church is a large and quiet place, but if you want to relax you can go to the park or the soccer field. These are located in front of the Catholic Church
and across from the Fire Station. El Roble School is near the Fire Station. Education is essential in El Roble. There are many good schools around town where children can receive excellent
education. There is tasty bread and delicious cakes in Tentaciones’ place; it is a neat bakery next to the Furniture store. This store is across from Salazar Photo store. Mr. Salazar is the owner
right now. There is an ATM from Costa Rica’s Bank near the drugstore in my town. The drugstore is next to a pet shop where you can buy dog and cat food and supplies. In El Roble, there are
many big supermarkets such as Palí, MaxiPalí or Megasuper. Palí is across from Algara Clinic, MaxiPalí is on the Costanera highway and Megasuper is between the bus stop and Palí. My
sister likes every time we go to buy groceries and food in the supermarket on Sundays. Some products are expensive or cheap depending on the brand. Unfortunately, in El Roble there isn’t
any fast food restaurant. You need to go to San José or San Ramón to buy a McDonald’s happy meal. However, puntarenenses don´t like fast food. They prefer to buy a delicious ceviche at
PerúTico’s restaurant or go to Paseo de los Turistas to get ice cream and play soccer at the beach.
