Physical description and personality:
Dr.Edgar is a short old man with a lab coat on like a normal scientist with thick glasses
because he is very intelligent. He is always in his lab and constantly looking for the next
big breakthrough in science and he feels like he has found it. He is very anti-social and
hates everyone who can’t do anything for him that could benefit him. His job is to
become the greatest solo scientist of all time and is willing to stop at nothing to achieve
his dreams nobody gets in his way.

Biography and backstory – include powers and skills:
Dr.Edgar is a scientist who use to be a part of an elite group of scientists who did secret
research for the government but was cut loose and was taken to a remote uninhabited
island to die. But he a adapts and finds supplies and creates his lab and this is how he
starts his adventure.
His enemies are everyone who tries to explore the island who have no idea that
Dr.Edgar is there so he traps them and uses them for dangerous testing which is how he
can get his powers
Dr.Edgar’s powers were taken as inspiration from Dr.N.Brio from the Crash bandicoot
series. To gain powers he has to consume different concoctions ‘Potions’ that give him
different powers but he cannot mix them because it has deadly effects on him

Game genre, outline and objective:
The game is a strategy game in which you have to go around the island and set traps for
the people who venture on to the island and further help you to upgrade the defences
that you have at your disposal to defend your valuable research which is like a main base
for health. This game could be accessed on any device as it could be played on a portable
device such as a phone or tablet because it could be used for touching with a finger or on
a console using the controller to select the towers and traps. It could also be used on the
internet as a flash game and have groups on social networking sites which offer bonuses
which allow for more upgrades and also expand the base for the game and allow more
people to play it .

• Dr.Edgar was originally supposed to be a
dinosaur-man hybrid as pictured below.
• The also was also he would be merged with
metal but was changed.

7. Design Pack 2
• It was then decided that he would be a regular
scientist who had a fascination with dinosaurs
so I experimented with different designs on
illustrator.

8. Design Pack 3
• The final design started out as a simple
stickman like profile but ended up becoming
more advanced the further the designing
went on.

Dr.Edgar is on his own on
stage.
Pressing on Dr.Edgar will
cause the animation to
begin
Dr.Edgar’s hand rises up to
his glasses
Dr.Edgar is at a table and he
does a 180 degrees turn.
He walks over to the second
desk
The green test tube that
was on his side falls and is
thrown to the other side of
the stage
The test tube explodes and
creates an explosion and
there is a large explosion on
the screen.
Originally the explosion was
meant to lead to a selection
screen in which there was a
biography of him but too
much time was taken on the
animation and other things
so it had to be cut
