Continued M&A activity in the market will allow businesses to
consolidate and grow – presenting challenges in the form of

Continued investment in Technology and Data will allow early
adopters to differentiate their service offering and appeal to new
demographics, examples being Investment in better Mobile User
Interfaces & the ability to access quotes on mobile, within a short
space of time. This year we predict the Insurtech mini-industry to
continue it’s impressive trajectory, with Artificial Intelligence (AI)
and Blockchain leading the charge in data analytics for the sector.
This investment in technology could also stretch to include HRIS – a
cross-industry area of growth at present.
From a HR perspective, these projects and new areas will mean
finding & on-boarding new Talent, considering Recruitment
Strategies, as well as challenges from a Contracts & Compliance
perspective. New locations and considerations around the EU
Passport uncertainty may mean putting together business
& Organisational plans for both soft & hard Brexit scenarios,
especially for organisations who want to be prepared for any
outcome.
