Discovery is a easy to use search tool that searches
across many high quality evidence based resources.
You can choose the type of information you are
looking for by using the search tabs for journals,
articles or the Library Catalogue. It comes up with
search suggestions to help you select your search
words.
You can refine your search results by using the
āRefine Resultsā menu on the left of the screen. This
includes options to narrow results by date, publication
type, language and more. Full text access is available
for many resources. To see if a resource is full text
just look for the Full Text link or the Available button.
To access full text you will need an Open Athens
account. For information on how to set this up refer to
the information on the following page.
The team in your staff library are very pleased to announce our
new search engine Discovery. The tool is available on Connect or on the
trust website. We would love to hear your views on it. Give it a go and
get in touch with
your thoughts.
