A part of any month-to-month car maintenance plan is checking the tire pressure of one's tires. When properly blowing up wheels your car will get better gas mileage plus your tire's life will be lengthened. Wheel pressure is important to a car's overall performance. Using a basic wheel pressure gauge you can examine your own tire pressure. Gauges can be found for as low as three dollars for a basic one or more for the better digital one. Once you have a tire pressure gauge you may need to check the owner's manual to obtain the best pressure for your tires. If you have lost your owner's manual there should be a sticker label on the inside of one of the doors.
