Scope of the
Project
Let’s Save Our Summer by Working
Together!
COVID-19 has been hard on all of us, but one of the
hardest-hit industries has been the Tourism
Industry.
It is no secret that Lac du Bonnet businesses rely on
the busy summer months for continued growth and
success. As the province continues to announce
phases of re-opening, it is time to work together to
save our summer!
While we won’t be able to recover this year fully, we
can take steps to lessen the hardships of the
businesses and non-profit organizations that serve
and rely on the tourism economy.
The Lac du Bonnet Community Development
Corporation wants to partner with you to help drive
visitors to Lac du Bonnet through the development
of Day Trips and Getaways that can be promoted to
Manitobans.

The Tourism Shift
International Travel
It is predicted that
International Borders
will remain closed until
2021. Those of us who
rely on these visitors
need to make a shift to
attract regional and
provincial visitors.
Intraprovince Travel
Did you know that 85%
of Eastman Visitors are
from Manitoba? That’s
great news for Lac du
Bonnet as we work
together to develop Day
Trips.
Regional & Local Travel
Travel restrictions have
reduced travel and
vacation options for
everyone. Regional and
local travel is increasing
as we venture out to
explore experiences
close to home.
