This document provides instructions for creating a beaded bandana. The instructions include cutting the bandana in half diagonally, folding down the top edge three times and pressing it, marking and cutting strips up the sides for beads, and adding unglued beads to the strips to allow for placement adjustments before fusing the folds and gluing the beads. The result is an artsy, customized beaded bandana.

2. Measure diagonally across bandana.

3. Cut bandana into halves.

5. Turn down about ¾” across top, pressing as you go. Do
this about 3 times.

6. Measure about 11 ½” across. Mark straight down the
sides.

7. Cut on this mark up to the bottom of the fold.

8. Press the cut piece up toward the fold.

9. Cut off the extra fabric.

10. Fuse fold together with Stitch Witch (fusible bonding web.)

13. Turn bandana wrong side up. Measure and mark about
3 ½” from lower edge.

15. Mark and cut strips (about ½” wide x 3” long) up both
hemmed sides.

17. Add your beads to the strips. Do not glue them until they
are all on, because you will probably want to adjust the
placement.

18. Enjoy your artsy bandana!
