Cui Li interned at Citi Malaysia over the summer in their Country Marketing and Digital Sales department. Her objectives were to gain experience outside of academia and learn digital marketing skills. She worked on various projects including managing a creative agency, writing ad copies, analyzing customer data from digital campaigns, and coordinating a paper statement charging migration project. Through the internship, she learned the importance of adapting quickly, asking questions, and using data to drive marketing impact. In her presentation, she reflected on wanting to apply the skills learned to future careers focused on data and marketing.

Editor's Notes
Boss made me start working on this in Week 5 of 11
Expectations from a mathematician who hasn’t given much thought on joining the corporate world.
Excited, nervous, confused!Would this be really stringent; not as chilled as, say, working in a startup (which was the original summer plan).
Would someone who believes the best in everything fit in? What about the stereotype of bankers (which have prevailed in a significant portion of investment bankers I’ve dated)?
Would I still be given a structure like school so I know what I’m doing?
What is this brief I’m reading talking about? Ohh… CVP = cost-volume-profit analysis!
Citi Language… “high-level” =/= surface-level simple.
First 2 points are how I learnt
Second 2 points are the responsibilities given
