Any creative outlet of passion or ent husiasm

brainstor ming session. This process is
divided into several stages. The f irst one
is what is called Lightboxing. This is t he
process by whic h t he brain f loats it ’s visual
t houghts and word lists in front of t he
mind’s eye and lets t hese images and data
dance into several var iations. Some of t hese
var iations end up on paper or in digital
test com positions. The stage t hat gar ners
t he most ent husiasm is t he production of
t he f inal concept. However, if req uired,
t he mental stages of t he process can be
documented on paper.

The primary goal was to produce a series
of items related to product research for two
proposed campaigns. The product was Pampers
Diapers.
Series one, which is depicted in the top row,
was called The One Sure Thing. In this case I
produced a frequent buyers card, a magazine
ad, a vending machine facade. The second
series (depicted to the left) was called Sweet
Dreams, Happy Play. It only contains a print

The production involved a brain storming
session with the client and then bouncing
back and forth the possible results until the
clients were satisfied.

holiday season. Michael Norris, created great
hand drawn illustrations, and I laid out and
constructed a visual design that utilized their
logos colors and theme. The final result was
sent to Oregon Printing of Dayton, Ohio.

a unique project, it had to be coded using
nothing but HTML and accompanying theme
languages (mainly CSS).

FilmDayton Festival
C l i c k t o V i e w . At the FilmDayton Festival, which ran from

August 23rd-25th, I produced an introductory
motion graphics presentation that fit with their
old film motif. It Played before each feature. It
was about 10 minutes. It was made entirely in
After Effects.

This was done for Living Word Church of
Vandalia, Ohio. The iterative process involved
disc art creation and design, Jewel Case insert
design, Vinyl Multi-disc insert design, and
Audio Engineering skills to complete. These
CDs and DVDs are already being distributed.
This was part of a nearly year long contract
job.

Think Big, REAL Big.

With a 5 person creative team, UpDayton, 60
or more volunteers, and custom paint from
Ace Hardware, this design was transposed
and painted onto a bridge in about 8 hours on
June 2nd 2012.
I created a multitude of solutions for this
project ranging from graphical representations
of the bridge in Illustrator to physical objects
used to properly and uniformly space sidewalk
chalk 4 inches apart. The planning took almost
5 months, and meticulous attention to detail.

This process is divided into several stages. The f irst one is what is called Lightboxing. This is t he process by whic h t he brain f loats it ’s visual t houghts and word lists in front of t he mind’s eye and lets t hese images and data dance into several var iations. Some of t hese var iations end up on paper or in digital test com positions. The stage t hat gar ners t he most ent husiasm is t he production of t he f inal concept. The product was Pampers Diapers. Series one, which is depicted in the top row, was called The One Sure Thing. In this case I produced a frequent buyers card, a magazine ad, a vending machine facade. The second series (depicted to the left) was called Sweet Dreams, Happy Play. It only contains a print AMGLETT i 3 INNOMAGIC Imagine Innovate Implement ad and a store display. The production involved a brain storming session with the client and then bouncing back and forth the possible results until the clients were satisfied.

With a 5 person creative team, UpDayton, 60 or more volunteers, and custom paint from Ace Hardware, this design was transposed and painted onto a bridge in about 8 hours on June 2nd 2012. I created a multitude of solutions for this project ranging from graphical representations of the bridge in Illustrator to physical objects used to properly and uniformly space sidewalk chalk 4 inches apart.
