Both build key infrastructure for scholarly publishing activities 5. Everyone always thinks they are bigger than they actually are 6. People confuse their employees for others
  3. 3. common assumptions 1. That scholarly endeavors are worthwhile pursuits for advancing human thinking and understanding. 2. The scholarly communication is an important piece of the scholarly endeavors. 3. That good scholarly communication makes for better scholarship 4. That the scholarly record is the foundation of those communications 5. That infrastructure can ensure the integrity, completeness, and usefulness of the scholarly record
  4. 4. in short both organizations believe that by building and improving scholarly infrastructure, we are improving science and scholarship, and thereby having a positive effect on the world.
  5. 5. OJS is a publishing platform which is a key piece of scholarly infrastructure and infrastructure improves scholarly communication therefore OJS makes the world a better place
