related to the research and product development of turbochargers, aftertreatment, filtration,

As CTO, responsible for the oversight and functional excellence leadership of the
engineering activities in India across all Cummins businesses and entities – this included
leading the Technical Functional Excellence activities as a part of the Cummins Operating
System (COS) in India. As CEO & MD of CRTI, manage and oversaw all aspects of
business planning, engineering development and support, facility, IT, supplier and financial
management, equipment procurement, recruitment, performance appraisal, and legal and
government compliance.

Cummins Emission Solutions (May 2005 – June 2008)
Responsible for the global oversight and technical functional excellence activities related
to the research and product development of aftertreatment products (including selective
catalytic reduction and diesel particulate filters.) This included oversight of a technical
budget of $35 million and a global organization of 150+ people.

Fleetguard (June 2002 – April 2005)
Responsible for the global design, analysis, drafting and lab services for the Fleetguard
Division. This included supervisory responsibility of 7 managers/directors and 115
engineers and technicians. Developed an offshoring/outsourcing strategy for design,
analysis and drafting in India and Turkey – resulted in $1 million savings in 2004. Also
led Design Engineering Functional Excellence for all Cummins worldwide
