extensive knowledge and progressive leadership in web content strategy, search engine optimization (SEO), site analytics
and managing time-critical projects for enterprise-level websites has earned me an exceptional reputation among leadership
throughout TCH and BCM.

For the past 9 years I have been serving Texas Children’s
Hospital as a web marketing specialist (content).
I am the chief administrator for the web content of the Cancer
and Hematology Centers and have provided strategic direction
for the 29 services that our centers provide. I am an expert
in managing compelling, usable websites and pages that are
compliant with web usability best practices and SEO principles.
I believe that an organization must set style standards for
all online content and I have exhibited continuous success
working with key organization stakeholders to implement
project objectives in a deadline-driven environment,
while simultaneously ensuring that our customer experience
is maintained and web standards are adhered to. I also ensure
that audience-specific voices are used in all web-based
communication, including webpages and e-newsletters.
I have worked closely with other members of the marketing/
public relations team to share and translate communications
into web/SEO optimized copy for Texas Children’s websites.
As chief administrator for the web content of the largest
department at Texas Children’s Hospital, I review the website
copy and am authorized to publish copy to Texas Children’s
websites.
In addition, I have created training materials that have assisted
with teaching CMS users how to use Drupal. These CMS
training materials were developed in conjunction with Davuth
Ang, our Senior Web Marketing Specialist (User Experience),
with whom I have worked closely in migrating web content into
the Drupal content management system for texaschildrens.org.

• Created the #1 website optimized for speed, per GTMetrix, when compared among the U.S. News and World Report
10 Best Children’s Cancer Hospitals websites.
• < 300% increase in txch.org visitor traffic between 2007-2010, following an aggressive re-structuring & targeted keyword
campaign. Visitor traffic increased < 60% in 2013 due to optimization and an aggressive Google Adwords campaign.
• Pioneered the 1st official Facebook page of Texas Children’s Hospital, for the Cancer Center . It has < 7,400 ‘likes’
• Created < 49,000 redirects in under 2 weeks using advanced Apache mod_rewrite directives, having no prior
experience with Apache standards
• 1,000s of unique visitors interact with our websites daily; Personal websites receive < 55,000 visitors monthly
• TCH Department Site of the Year Award Recipient, granted by the Web Services Division, Department of
Information Services and Technology
• < 350,000 visitor views on social media sites, such as YouTube, Facebook, Google+, etc.
• Implemented new domains in coordination with Exchange Administration, reaching < 750 employees.
• Employee intranet usage increased < 100% following the development of a department site and 12 team sites.
• Created an e-storage database and management tool, which provides a centralized access point to upload, store, and
retrieve an assortment of medical credentials for < 125 clinicians. Automated expiration alerts provide an easy way for
our department to efficiently manage medical licenses and credentialing
