Angry Eyes Paper
In this video, there were several students in one room with the instructor and others in
a room isolated from the others it seems. They were told to come in the room but not get near
the others due to the fact that they had a different eye color. The instructor said this is basically
a test or a lesson (whichever way it wants to be interpreted) about being different from others.
The instructor used to be an elementary school teacher during the civil rights movement; she
would work with the children about where they got their reasoning behind being racist towards
colored people. The teacher used reverse psychology and basically put people down in the way
that Americans do to blacks. She segregated them as the black people would be in real life. This
is to open the eyes of the American people about how rough and immoral racismcan be and
how it was. It is not to make each other mad or put somebody down in the exercise, but to
simply put it into the young students' minds that racismis not the way to be. Just because they
have different colored eyes or somebody has a slower rate of learning mean they have to be
discriminated or judged by that. This class should be taught everywhere in my opinion. Children
and young Americans today learn their morals, facts and opinions from their parents and peers.
It's more of a historical corruption that has been handed down and that's all they know. It's
