9. OUR COURSES
Courses at Koiné are conceived in order to satisfy the needs of everyone. They are
characterized by a permanent focus on the student, flexible timetables
and dynamic activities.

10. GROUP COURSES
Classes consist of small groups (min 5 max 10) and are
divided by level.
Our group courses consist of three hour lesson per
day for a total of 60hrs a month. However, every
student can choose the duration and attendance of the
course according to his/her goals and availability.
At the end of the course students receive a certificate
of attendance.
11. ONE – ON –ONE
You can have one on one Italian lessons at home, or
at your workplace, at school or online.
The teacher will tailor a course based on your needs
and interests.
One to one lessons are sold in package of 10 hours.
For larger purchases (more than 20 hours) discount
may be applied.
12. COURSES FOR KIDS
Koiné promotes Italian also among the youngest! We organise
three different group classes according the age groups: 6-8
years, 9-11 years, 12-14 years.
Through games, interactive activities and musical devices
children learn naturally and quickly while having lots of fun.
All of our teachers are specialised in teaching languages to
kids.
13. Koiné is an authorised Test Center for CELI exams,
recognised by the University for Foreigners of Perugia.
Our school organises specific courses for the
preparation of the official exams for Italian language:
CELI and CILS.

14. TEACHER TRAINING
Koiné organises preparation courses for DITALS II. The
course, which is monitored by the University for
Foreigners of Siena, is aimed at aspiring teachers of
Italian as a second language and Italian as a Foreign
Language (L2/LS).
It consists of a series of modules that are intended to
provide a solid theoretical and practical basis not only
for the exam Ditals II but also for classroom practice.
15. KOINÉ SOLIDARITY
Koiné organises free courses for those who are in urgent need
of learning Italian for resident permits and are not able to
afford the cost of the standard courses.
In order to meet the growing presence of migrants of
different ethnicities and nationalities in the Roman territory,
Koiné has created a Course specifically for Arabic, Bengali,
Chinese, Japanese Speakers and all no indo-european
language speakers. The Course includes a period of literacy
for citizens of non-Indo-European mother-tongue who need
to learn basic grammar and phonetic of Italian language.
The course prepare to the Celi exam - A2 level, required for
the “Carta di soggiorno”.
