If I had the ability to vote in the election I would vote Conservative
over the other possible parties we have in the Wetaskawin riding.
The reasoning as to why I would conservative would be because of
the party’s idea to spend more money into the Defense of our
nation, such as purchasing and design new fighter planes like the
F-35 strike fighter. Canada has never had a big military and I
always felt it was better for us to be better prepared in case a war
broke out. The Conservative party also wants to scrap the long gun
registry. I never felt that the registry was needed; it has not been a
huge problem with the registry not in place since 2006. Lastly the
conservative party wants to help local farmers, they plan on doing
this by allowing for more research so that farmers can get a better
crop yield without sacrificing the benefits of the crop.
