2. • ICT intergration basically refers to use of technology in
communication, data processing and data storage to impact
the knowledge on learners.
• Computer Based Learning(CBL) and teaching makes
learning more efficient and more interesting to learners thus
improving the quality of education. The knowledge
deepening approach has a greater impact on learning. Its
policy goal is to increase the ability of learners, to add value
to education.

• Technology has e potential to support education
across the curriculum.
• Expands the pedagogical resources available to
science teachers.
• Provides the opportunities if effective
communication, enhancing students achievement.

5. Disadvantages of ICT
intergration
• The internet server can go down randomly,so you can
not connect to webpage if possibly the teaching plan
was relying on a video online(YouTube)
• More and more resources are being put into ICT
schools, the cost of laptops,wireless
broadband,projectors are costly to purchase and
mantain.
• Painful eyes because of prolonged time using
computers

6. Example of ICT
intergration in
English
specialization
As an English specialist it is expected that in
my content I will engage learners in;
novels,short stories,poetry and drama.
Putting into consideration the multiple
intelligences of the pupils in class , my
lessons have to cater for all of them for
effective collaboration. The use of a
computer or laptop and projector to connect
to the internet so I can play them videos and
audio clips to broader their learning for
effective learning.
