How to configure the
Unidentified Networks in Windows 7?
Sometimes it so happens that the system is unable to identify the network it is connected to due to network
issue or lack of identifiable characteristics. This type of network is called unidentified network. Windows
notifies you when it encounters an unidentified network in the Network and Sharing Center. You can thus
configure this network’s location type and user permissions. Thus Windows can then automatically set
appropriate firewall settings for it and save an overhead of configuring it manually. The security of your
system is thus tightened.
