Conceptualize your poster. (Message and Design) Take pictures to be used for the poster. Day 2
Com Lab or ERC 2 periods Create your digital poster using Canva. You’re allowed to use additional
tools. Submit the digital poster in our Edmodo group. PERFORMANCE TASK NO. 3 - DIGITAL

activity next meeting. They may actually start discussing the message of their poster. Leader can
give assignments to members in preparation for the activity next meeting. You may allot the
remaining10-15 minutes of your class. 15 RUBRIC Criteria Excellent Good Fair NI Content Be a
responsible user and producer of media information. Message is clear, accurate, and strong. 10
Message is clear and accurate. 8 Message is clear but question-able. 5 Message is unclear and/
or inaccurate. 2 Page  ‹#› RUBRIC Criteria Excellent Good Fair NI Graphic Relevance and
Citation All graphics are related to the topic and make it easier to understand. All borrowed graphics
have a source citation. 10 All graphics are related to the topic and most make it easier to
understand. One borrowed graphics have no source citation. 8 All graphics relate to the topic. Two
borrowed graphics have no source citation. 5 Graphics do not relate to the topic and/or three or

Good Fair NI Design and Layout The poster is excep-tionally attractive in terms of design, layout,
and neatness. 10 The poster is attractive in terms of design, layout, and neatness. 8 The poster

Importance of media,
information and Literacy.

Media is a person’s view to share and to
receive information, commonly as a medium
of exchange. Requiring to know the
information a person must be literate
enough to understand this things but some
cases being literate can’t be that seriously
needed, it is how a person knows to
communicate with others. Such ways can be
ideal and some ways can be false. But in
today’s generation people mostly are
dependent on technology and most people
are literate which they can understand most
of the things circulating what are the
trending situations around them. It also
results negative functions in which that it
can harm one’s reputation in social media
and reality. Basically, to be able to learn the
things to prevent such cases one must know
valuable characteristics!
CHARACTERISTICS OF BEING A
RESPONSIBLE USER OF MEDIA
INFORMATION!
 Post Positively. Lead by example. Only
post messages and statuses that will make
a positive impact on your followers and
friends. Become the “Positive Warrior” on
your own Feed.
 Respectfully Comment, Then Report
Anything Inappropriate. Inappropriate
content that is harmful to yourself or
others should be reported. Remember to
fight the negative with the positive.
 Block Inappropriate People. Report and
block users that post harmful content that
affects yourself or others. Especially if the
person is constantly posting negative
content.
 Inform Students & Adults. Make sure
other people know if you see negativity
online and inform students, staff
members, and families about
#iCANHELP. Teach them how they can
promote positivity on and offline.
 Follow #iCANHELP on their social media
sites and get ideas of how you can make a
difference.

But in today’s generation people mostly are dependent on technology and most people are literate which they can understand most of the things circulating what are the trending situations around them. It also results negative functions in which that it can harm one’s reputation in social media and reality. Basically, to be able to learn the things to prevent such cases one must know valuable characteristics! CHARACTERISTICS OF BEING A RESPONSIBLE USER OF MEDIA INFORMATION!  Post Positively. Lead by example. Only post messages and statuses that will make a positive impact on your followers and friends. Become the “Positive Warrior” on your own Feed.

Remember to fight the negative with the positive.  Block Inappropriate People. Report and block users that post harmful content that affects yourself or others. Especially if the person is constantly posting negative content.  Inform Students & Adults. Make sure other people know if you see negativity online and inform students, staff members, and families about #iCANHELP.
