luas, tinggi, lereng, dan volume.
 Ukuran obyek pada citra merupakan fungsi
skala, maka di dalam memanfaatkan ukuran
sebagai unsur interpretasi citra harus selalu
diingat skalanya.


Ukuran

rumah sering mencirikan
apakah rumah itu rumah mukim,
kantor, atau industri. Rumah
mukim umumnya lebih kecil bila
dibanding dengan kantor atau
industri.

 Lapangan

olah raga di samping
dicirikan oleh bentuk segi empat,
lebih dicirikan oleh ukurannya, yaitu
sekitar 80 m x 100 m bagi lapangan
sepak bola, sekitar 15 m x 30 m
bagi lapangan tennis, dan sekitar 8
m x 10 m bagi lapangan bulu
tangkis.

 Nilai

kayu disamping ditentukan
oleh jenis kayunya, juga ditentukan
oleh volumenya. Volume kayu bisa
ditaksir berdasarkan tinggi pohon,
luas hutan serta kepadatan
pohonnya, dan diameter batang
pohon.

 Skala

citra 1:2000. Panjang objek
pada foto udara 4 cm, dan lebarnya
3 cm. Panjang sebenarnya 4x2000
= 8000 cm atau 80 m sedangkan
lebar sebenarnya 3x2000 = 6000
cm atau 60 m
