3. The word Physiotherapy comes from the union of the Greek voices physis meaning Nature and therapehia
meaning Treatment. This means that etymologically Physiotherapy is "Treatment by Nature", although

purposes. In fact, from primitive man we find references to treatments based on physical agents to

religious rituals.
The therapeutic philosophy of Hippocrates was to promote the forces of self-healing of the body and
incorporates the Movement as a Therapeutic Agent (neuromuscular therapy bandage), in addition to
