SUMMARY
The technology industry in a fast paced and ever evolving industry. As an
engineer, I value an employer that will help me grow and succeed in this
environment. As an employee, I strive to engineer new and innovative solutions by
meeting or exceeding the requirements given to me. In my current position, I am
responsible for administering and creating data center solutions. More specifically I
mainly focus on datacenter virtualization and end user computing. In my current role
I have been responsible for maintaining our current VDI View environment. I have
since engineered a new Horizon view environment to conform to our unique
challenges at Cabela's. I consider this to be my biggest accomplishment since
VMware is wanting to do a case study on our architecture and the use of their products. To become a better
engineer I would like to gain more knowledge and skill in security and networking. This will allow me to better
thrive in my role.
Being from a small town, I enjoy going hiking, climbing, and most other outdoor activities. When I'm
not outdoors, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. One of my biggest passions right now is
volunteering on our local fire department and being involved in our local communities activities. Having these
interests, I appreciate a good work/life balance.
