overseas on my
21st Birthday…

And discovered…

innate ability to
handle stress
REALLY well!

19. Stress? Stress is driving through a
city of over a million occupants, all
of them wielding assault rifles, and
giving you death stares. That’s
stress! What you’re going to have for
dinner, when your next vacation
is, what you’re going to wear
tomorrow. All that goes out the
window comparatively.

20. After my vacation in
the desert I was…
And had to find work in
the civilian sector…

21. Luckily I had acquired
quite the skillset…
And began an
internship here…

 Supported Microsoft Access DB
for Enterprise Asset Manager.
 Wrote custom SQL queries for
front-end reporting.
 Held live teaching events for
asset manager software.

22. All Things come to an end however…
And I moved to doing this…

23. One Day…
My Phone Rang…
It was a recruiter…

24. They told me they could
offer me more of this…
In exchange for this…

25. And so began my adventure into Healthcare

- Hospital Workflow
- “Face of the Company”
- Supporting 134 hospitals

26. Nearly Instantly…
I had found my calling…
I became addicted to learning everything
healthcare technology…

27. Shortly After…

28. I started moving up at the company…
All while continuing to learn more and more…
And up…
And up…

29. Like…a lot more…

30. I decided to specialize my learning…

And to find my purpose…

study. You need not only be proficient with
technology, but with the communication of
medicine. I am not a doctor, or a nurse – but I
touch, see, and manipulate more patient’s data
in one day than any medical professional will
see in their life time. With that, it’s not about
the money, or the job benefits, or the plush
chair – but making sure I deliver excellent
technical insight for the best patient care
possible.

 Supported all production
interfaces.
 Managed the development of 58
new integrations.
 Gained Cloverleaf Level 1
Certification.
 Advised staff on new market
happenings within healthcare
integration and Electronic
Medical Records.
