SERVICE TO ARTS AND CULTURE
Having Rendered service as a University Professor in the field of Arts and
Culture, I thank Dr.Christo Ananth for his useful and entertaining
presentation on the topic "Qurru5)wrrGTT~6N! ffi6ID6) ffi6)ITB=5ITIJ ~u5)6l5lwru ffi6N61J
a;rr6obra; !" [Translated as "O Engineer, Dream About Arts-Culture-Science"].
The episode lasted for about 60 minutes which had various entertaining
features about the usefulness of arts, culture and science in engineer's life.
He quoted that some governors and mayors are including arts and cultural
agencies in their approaches. He outlined how arts, culture, and design
can compel economic solutions in five ways including: 1. Creating a
fast-growth, dynamic industry cluster, 2. Help mature industries become
more competitive, 3. Provide the critical ingredients for innovative places, 4.
Catalyze community revitalization, 5. Deliver a better-prepared workforce. I
would like to thank him for his initiatives to bring awareness about Arts,
Culture and Media among Science, Engineering and Technology
community.
