3. We breathe in oxygen and breathe out
carbon dioxide out of it.
We also can breathe from our mouths, but it
is healthier to breathe through our noses.
Why?
1. Our noses have tiny hairs, that trap the
dust from the air as we breathe in.
2. It has mucous secreted from its walls to
cover the dust and makes it easier for us to
get rid of it.
3. It warms the air entering our bodies.
5. Trachea is the passageway for air to
enter from our noses to our lungs.
Trachea is not a soft organ (you can feel
it in your neck).Why?
It is hard to always stay open and not
close when moving your heads or during
sleep (to make sure you always get the
oxygen your body needs)
7. Lungs are sacs that take in the air from
trachea.
It gives oxygen to the blood and take
carbon dioxide out of the blood.
The diaphragm: Is a muscle separating
the heart and lungs from the rest of the
body organs.
When we inhale, it contracts and moves
downwards.When we exhale, it relaxes
and moves back up.
