SUMMARY
I have finish my training as a Millwright in 2001 at SIVOS Kathu South Africa. I had started my career in the
Underground Mines at Tsekondeni coal mine. There i had done maintenance on Joy Continious miners , Ramkarre and
Wagner LHD. In that same year i was approach by BoartLongyear Capital Equipment ( Aard Mining) to work for them as
a Field Service Technician .In 2006 I joint AfriSam ( HOLCIM ) cement in the Northen Cape where i had work as a
Controller Millwright. In 2008 i join a small Fertilizer company where I was the production and maintenance supervisior .
Change the mixing plant from 6 Ton/hr to 32Ton/Hr was one of my biggest accomplishments.
In 2013 after the factory close down i join Kumba Iron Ore where i am working as a Shift Millwright.
My strong points is Hydraulics but I have a passion for fault finding on electrical systems.

Shift Millwright
Working a 4 shift as Millwright . Doing brake downs on all drills on mine ( BE Drills , P&H and Atlas
Copco Pitvipers)
I am also responsible for the live switching of 11kV power lines and Mini Substations.
I am in charge of the sections Alpha projects.
Production and Maintenance Supperviser
Developed production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control,
maintenance and other operational reports, to detect production problems.
Oversaw design , procurement and construction from a mechanical equipment and reliability perspective
and provide input for star-up and operation of the mechanical systems.
Planned and laid out work to meet production and schedule requirements.
Responsible for setting minimum standards and providing technical guidance and support for design,
installation, operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems used in the process.

Reviewed the daily computer log and reported any inaccuracies in the process board.
Responded to and initiated proper corrections to process alarms.
Maintained correct temperature, levels and pressures on process systems and equipment.
