2. Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is
an infectious disease caused by a
newly discovered coronavirus.
Most people infected with the
COVID-19 virus will experience mild
to moderate respiratory illness and
recover without requiring special
treatment. Older people, and those
with underlying medical problems
like cardiovascular disease,
diabetes, chronic respiratory
disease, and cancer are more likely
to develop serious illness.
3. If COVID-19 is spreading in your community, stay safe by taking
some simple precautions:
02 Wearing a mask
03 Keeping rooms well
ventilated
01 Physical Distancing
05 Cleaning your hands
06 Coughing into a bent elbow
or tissue
04 Avoiding crowds
Check local advice where you live and work. Do it all!
07 Stay indoors,don't go outside
if not necessary and more....
4. SOCIAL DISTANCING
Social distancing is crucial for
preventing the spread of
contagious illnesses such as
COVID-19 (coronavirus). COVID-19
can spread through coughing,
sneezing and close contact.
By minimizing the amount of close
contact we have with others, we
reduce our chances of catching the
virus and spreading it to our loved
ones and within our community.

5. Your mask helps protect those around you.
Masks are a simple barrier to help prevent your
respiratory droplets from reaching others.
Studies show that masks reduce the spray of
droplets when worn over the nose and mouth.
You should wear a mask, even if you do not feel
sick.
The wearing of community face masks is only
effective if utilized along with proper hand
hygiene and physical distancing.

6. KEEP ROOMS WELL VENTILATED
Ventilation reduce risk from
airborne transmission of viruses,
improving ventilation also benefits
indoor air quality by reducing
exposure to products used for
cleaning and disinfecting
potentially contaminated surfaces.
03
7. AVOIDING CROWDS
In a time when a novel virus is still
spreading quickly, a gathering of
people can now look more like a
mob of disease vectors.
The larger the crowd, after all, the
greater the chance that someone
in it will have the coronavirus.

8. Handwashing remains one of the
best ways to prevent the spread of
Coronavirus (COVID-19). It’s
common sense and it works.
However, it must be done properly
and with soap and water. When
soap and water are not available,
the next best option is to use an
alcohol-based or hand sanitizer.
Your sanitizer should contain at
least 60% alcohol. If not, it won’t kill
germs effectively.
CLEANING YOUR HANDS

9. When you feel a sneeze or a cough coming on,
covering your mouth prevents the spread of
infectious germs. You probably knew that. But
the way you cover up also matters, and there
are plenty of people who haven’t yet heard the
consensus guidance of health officials: If no
tissue is available, you should aim into your
elbow, not your hand. Even if that means
breaking a long-held habit.

10. STAY INDOORS,DON'T GO OUTSIDE if NOT
NECESSARY
The fewer people you're around, the
lower your chance of infection. When you
stay home, you help stop the spread to
others, too. Don't go to crowded places. If
your community is under shelter-in-
place orders, follow proper guidelines for
when you can leave your home.
Cherish every moment with your family
inside.
