1. Technology
Throughout this process we have used a huge variety of different
technologies in each aspect of our process. (planning, pre-production
and postproduction)

2. Research
• We used power points, word documents prezies and videos to create
different varieties on presenting and researching for our film. Using
the internet for research we were able to get to grips with what was
needed in our planning stage. In this stage I furthered my skills in
power point.

3. • Researching our genre we used the pearl and dean webpage which
gave us great ideas about audiences.

4. Planning
• In planning we researched many different
aspects of film noir and film making in general.
Using websites like YouTube and IMDB we found
many examples of film noir movies which we
could use to become more familiar with the
genre and its traits. We again used PowerPoint
and prezi to display this information.

5. • We started editing using adobe premiere pro and final cut pro for our
animatic. We also had to draw up a story board and story line. The
ident for our production company was created using blender an
animation program.
• We also used a iPhone6 to take location shots.

6. Production
• While filming we used a home made crane for our first panning shot.
For filming we used two different cameras a canon 7D on the crane
and a canon EOS 70D for all other shots.
