Our Talented Staff 員工才藝出眾
Our annual dinner was held in February 2014 and participants were encouraged
to dress like “Western Cowboys”. All our staff not only dressed to match the
theme, but also became deeply involved in the adventure games held throughout
the night and demonstrated their talents in a singing contest. It was a pleasant
and enjoyable night for all!
2014 年 2 月，公司舉行了以「西部牛仔」 為主題的年度晚宴。宴會上，所
有員工均悉心打扮，務求贏得最佳衣著獎，並積極參與晚宴的各項冒險遊戲，
還在歌唱比賽環節中盡顯才華，一起歡度了一個既愉快又豐盛的晚上。
World SME Expo「國際中小企博覽」
We participated in the World SME Expo, which was held in December
2013 in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This was the 8th
consecutive year we joined this event. Our booth was set up in the Expo
to showcase our latest developments in international payment solutions to
hundreds of visitors and clients.
2013 年 12 月，公司參加假香港會議展覽中心舉行的「國際中小企博覽」，
連續 8 年支持是次活動，並於展位內跟數百位新舊客戶分享了我們最新的國
際匯款解決方案。
Asian Small Business Foreign Exchange
Market Report 亞洲小型企業外匯市場報告
We have engaged a research agency, East Partners Asia, to conduct research
on the foreign exchange market for small businesses in Asia in Feb 2014. Based
on the research, “Cash Flow” was identified as the second most important issue
for Hong Kong businesses, after “credit availability”. The importance of cash
flows is increasing compared to the results in Aug 2013. Although cash flow is
considered very important, 62.5% of businesses are to some degree blind to
the true cost of their foreign invoices. If costs do overrun, they are either injecting
more working capital or decreasing their profit margins.
我們邀請研究顧問公司 East Partners Asia 於 2014 年 2 月就亞洲小型企業
外匯市場進行調查，結果顯示「現金流」對香港企業而言是第二重要的項目，
排名僅次於「信用額度」，較 2013 年 8 月調查所得結果有所提升。雖然現金
流的重要性備受認同，但 62.5% 企業某程度上卻不甚了解外匯發票的真正成
本，一旦面臨超支，就只能注入更多營運資金或下調利潤。

Cocktail Tasting Party 雞尾酒品酒會
A fabulous cocktail tasting party was held in November 2013. About 30
premium clients participated in the party to enjoy the Italian style buffet,
as well as our signature cocktails specially prepared by Western Union
Business Solutions and professional bartender. Our payments specialists
also provided an insightful presentation of RMB, EUR and JPY currency
trends and hedging solutions during the party.
2013 年 11 月，公司圓滿舉辦了一場雞尾酒品酒會，邀請約 30 位特選客
戶品嚐特別由我們與專業調酒師合作研製的雞尾酒和意大利風格自助餐。
同場還有外匯專家與大家分享人民幣、歐元和日元等貨幣的走勢及對沖解
決方案。
Elderly House Visit 長者之家探訪
Our Volunteer Work Committee worked together with the The Salvation Army
to visit seniors living in a Home for the Elderly in Yuen Long in September
2013. During the visit, a Mid-Autumn Festival party was organised to
celebrate this traditional festival, and games and gifts were distributed.
2013 年 9 月，我們的香港義工隊聯同救世軍，同為一家位於元朗的長者之
家舉辦中秋聯歡晚會，活動當日與長者一同遊戲、猜燈謎、享用應節食品等，
並派發禮物包。
Moonwalker「盲俠行」
In November 2013, our staff joined the annual charity event ORBIS
Moonwalker. Over half of our participants successfully completed the whole
journey (20Km) with an average completion time of 4.88 hours.
2013 年 11 月，公司同事參加了一年一度的奧比斯「盲俠行」夜行籌款活動，
齊齊為公益出力。超過半數參與的同事更以平均 4.88 小時成功完成全程（20
公里）。

Introducing - Account Relationship Management Team
部門簡介 - 客戶關係管理組
The Account Relationship Management Team supports and
develops our “customer-centric” approach by aiming to turn a
customer into a “satisfied” client. All team members proactively listen
to and interact with our clients, enabling us to better understand
their needs in order to provide tailored professional advice.
In the Hong Kong marketplace, changes happen on a daily basis.
Any of these changes might result in adjustments to our clients’
mode of business, leading to amendments in their FX payment.
Therefore, part of our Account Relationship Management Team’s
daily work is to contact our clients regularly in order to address any
questions they may have and variations in their needs. Once in-
depth understanding of our clients' business requirements is
established, our team representatives are then able to provide
suitable solutions to any individual situation. Every
client is an important asset for our Account
Relationship Management Team, and like all
assets, our representatives consistently strive
to add value for each such “asset”.
客戶關係管理組本著「以客為本」的精神，
致力提供優質卓越的服務，令每一位客戶都
能稱心滿意。透過用心聆聽和主動溝通，讓
我們充份了解客戶需求，竭誠提供最專業的
