About Zimbabwe
6. Zimbabwe receive ODA from WBG CPIA and AfDB.
Some of these funds, through Climate Financing,
could help in subsidizing the investment cost of the
project by certain percentage. This will help the
private investors to source the counterpart funding to
make the project a success.
The impact of the ODA
7. This is very necessary, to initiate and sustain this
project. The government should guarantee and ensured
that the risks are less, create more enabling
environment for the private sector participation. The
banks and other financial institutions should be liberal
with the investors, to facilitate easier access to funds
for the projects.
