1. Promotional materials created for the launch of ClinicalKey
PocketGuides:We were sentsome promotional materialsbyClinicalKey,however at the time they didn’t quite fit
our needs. I decided to use the colours and styles that ClinicalKey uses and create our own. I made this Pocket
Guide, designedtoholdall the informationuserneedon how to log in to the system, how to use the SmartSearch
option, how to access the personalisation features and how to access the e-books and e-journals. It was hard to
workout all the spacingand designoptions but I am very pleased with the finished guide. Packed full of relevant
information yet still small enough to fit in the users’ pocket/wallet for future reference.
Table tents:These were alsoprovided by ClinicalKey but became inaccurate by the time we were ready to launch
the product, therefore I created these myself. Again I used the same colours and styles and we have since placed
them in the library to encourage users to access the new resources. Working out the design for these was
particularly tricky as they are printed on a sheet of A3 and then folded into shape. This meant I had to create one
‘side’ of the table tent ‘upside down’ so that it would be the right way up when folded.
