TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Charlotte Bury has been working with us since the beginning of June 2012 and during that time she has
proved herself trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and hard working. She is a very capable person and
has done everything we have asked of her. Her duties have included maintaining the banks of the mud
ponds by strimming them, removing weed from ponds by hand, harvesting of ponds as part of a team of
two people using a drag net; handling, counting and sorting fish and assisting in the full breeding
programme including spawning tank preparation, introducing brood fish, harvesting of eggs, incubation,
fry collection, counting and release. She has also been involved in nursery pond preparation and
maintenance of nursery pond water quality. Charlotte has assisted in disease diagnosis and treatment
and has worked under the strict bio-security regimes that we have in place at the farm. These tasks are
not easy but Charlotte has risen to the challenge with enthusiasm on each occasion and has always
performed well.
Charlotte is a bright and articulate young woman who works well as part of a team and who can also be
left to do jobs which involve working on her own for long periods. She is totally focussed on the task in
hand and always does every job to the best of her ability which happily has always been to our
satisfaction also. It has been a pleasure to have her working with us and I only wish that we could afford
to keep her with us. It’s rare to find someone with Charlotte’s combination of academic ability, practical
competence and positive nature. I’m sure that she will be an asset to any company that she works for
and we wish her every success for the future.
