It is with great pleasure that I submit this letter of recommendation on behalf of Charles
Palmer Hagenfeldt. It has been an honor and a pleasure to have had the opportunity to work
with such a determined, motivated and committed student.
I was first introduced to Charles in the Spring of 2014 as a student at Santa Barbara City
College. Working with him, I have developed an admiration for his enthusiasm, class and
commitment. Charles works very well with his peers and with people from diverse cultures and
social backgrounds and he is extremely open to instruction which makes him extremely easy to
work with.
Charles is a fine young man who is highly committed to completing his educational goals
and understands the value of time management and how important it is in order to reach that
goal. His work in our most recent educational interaction, a lecture class on Introduction to
Teaching and Coaching, has been nothing short of impressive. His attention to detail and
promptness were two main area where I saw the strong potential Charles possesses realized.
Again, it is with great pleasure that I have the privilege to recommend Charles Palmer
Hagenfeldt. I truly believe that he is one of the “special” young people that will positively serve
whichever community he settles into once he finishes his academic endeavors.
