1. Do you have existing customer references
that could be included in the award
submissions?
2. Do you have a ground breaking
solution/service that your customer is
happy to promote externally?
3. Who is the organiser, do you recognise
their name and does your business
appeal to their target audience?

4. Are the awards free of charge or is there
an administration fee to enter?
5. Review the winner from previous years,
are they your competition, if yes, you
should enter in the relevant categories
6. Are they annual, bi annual or quarterly? It
is relevant as to how long you hold the
title if you are a winner, 12 months is the
preference

customers / prospects be aware of these
awards or the publication behind the
awards?
8. Do you have the resource to fully commit and
enter the awards before the deadline?
9. If you ask an industry colleague are they
