services on BASE 24.
Role Description:
Senior Developer: I have been involved application development and clientco-
ordinationactivites with exposure to ACI BASE 24, Tandem, Tandem Cobol,Non-stop SQL. I have been
involved in TAL, COBOL, SCOBOL coding,Version control activities involving RMS Prime code. I have
learntto create TACL routines, which are being used to automate the review process for the project
deliverables. Had been at client site (Swindon, Wiltshire, UK) for KT phase of the new initiative and
provided cross-KT to the offshore team in India once I came back from there.

Overview: This projectoffers production supportto a leadingloan provider in the US which lends
loans to students who pursuehigher education in the US. My module was the Loan Disbursement
module, which takes careof disbursement of loans,returns and refunds of loans.
Role Description:My Responsibilities involved providingproduction supportto the Money movement
module.This involved concepts of CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL and general COBOL concepts. Also handle
production abends, respondingto queries from users and cleaningup any problems relatingto
production in the module.
Extra-curricular activities: Apart from my daily activities,I havebeen involved in automation of various daily
activities using MS Excel macros,TACL macros, REXX and ISPF commands. I have automated some of the code
review process which used to check for the code standards.There were codes written in REXX which used to
prepare code review comments. Have developed REXX panels which is used by the projectfor analysisand
submission of many scan jobs.Havealso created few macros which connect from MS Excel to reporting URLs
used in the project to extract and format the reports.
